The man on board who dragged the man into the boat, with some men from shore, took the man ashore at Kowloon, the first I saw of the man who jumped overboard was when he went on board the white launch; the man had on a dark cotton jacket and blue cotton trousers. I did not know him. I very seldom go home. I came to Hongkong the 5th moon of this year. I used to live in Sokwawan. The man who jumped overboard was among the six who came on board from the white launch. I will swear I never saw the man who jumped overboard, U A-fung, before this. I saw him going to board the white launch while I was sitting in the green launch. Both launches were at the same wharf.
